I use a blend of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, NLP, IEMT, EFT and Embodied Processing techniques personalised to meet your specific needs. Through online sessions, hypnosis recordings, and personalised self-care techniques, we will work together towards your goals. The techniques I use, explored below, allow me to support and guide you through the changes you want to make.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy utilises up to date neuroscience teaching, which helps us to understand how our brains work and why we feel the way we do. In combination with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and trance work, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy assists in understanding our brains and utilising it to work through difficult events, habits, or neurological programming, and make lasting changes in our lives.
Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) is a therapeutic approach that explores the relationship between eye movements and how we experience and process emotions. Drawing on principles from neuro-linguistics and modern psychology, IEMT supports the brain in naturally updating and reducing the intensity of distressing memories, unhelpful emotional responses, or limiting identity beliefs. By gently guiding the eyes through specific patterns, this technique helps to create rapid and lasting shifts in how past experiences are held in the mind, promoting emotional resilience, clarity, and well-being.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a meridian-based relaxation technique that can decrease anxiety, increase mind-body awareness, and foster cognitive shifts. Like a miniature battery, every organ of our body is polarised. Polarity refers to the positive and negative charges of the body’s natural electromagnetic energy field; every movement and thought we have involves this electrical energy. Our health is determined by the natural flow of that energy throughout the body. The emotional freedom technique (EFT) helps with this flow, removing blockages caused by our inner turmoil.
Embodied Processing is a Somatic technique to help resolve embodied emotions. We often store our emotions in our bodies leading to stress, anxiety, depression, chronic conditions, emotional dysregulation and more. Trauma can also have a profound affect on us leading us to feel unsafe or disconnected from our felt self, our bodies. Embodied processing allows us to reconnect with our bodies, build a state of safety and resource as well as allowing trapped emotion to finally become embodied and released.
Work with me
I'm now welcoming clients to my new private therapy room – a calm, confidential, and comfortable space designed to help you feel safe and supported. It's the ideal setting for us to work together in person, away from the distractions of everyday life.
For those who may find it difficult to travel, home visits can be arranged on a case-by-case basis – please feel free to ask if this would suit your situation.
I also offer sessions online via Google Meet, which is secure, easy to access, and a flexible option if you'd prefer to connect from your own space.
Wherever we meet, my goal is to offer a space where you feel heard, valued, and supported every step of the way.
